the story
(this is a true story. wumpy told us himself.)

wumpy and pepe were inseparable.
Bikes in the summer. Arcade after school. They split every candy bar right down the middle, even the weird ones. Pepe was the only kid who never made fun of how Wumpy was shaped (round). Wumpy was the only one who laughed at Pepe's jokes (bad).
They took exactly one photo together. It mattered later.

then the divorce happened.
Nobody explains it right when you're nine. One week there were lawyers on the phone, the next week there were boxes with his whole life written on them in marker. Wumpy moved across the country with his mom.
He wrote Pepe a letter. He never figured out how to end it, so he never sent it. The friends lost touch the way kids do β slowly, and then completely.
(HEAVY. FRAGILE. MINE.)
mom says the new city has a pool. i would trade the pool to stay. i would trade basically anything to
(it ends there. it always ended there.)

years later. one photo.
Wumpy grew up. Got a desk job. Got a chair that spins. And one night, deep in the feed, he saw it: somebody posted a picture from the old street. The diner. The arcade. Their bench.
He found the old photo of the two of them β or his half of it, anyway. It tore when he moved. He packed a bag that night. He's going back to find Pepe.

the other half is out there.
help wumpy find him.
The city's big. The trail is cold. The blob is round and his legs are short. Hold $WUMPY and walk the streets yourself in Finding Pepe β the story mode game, free for every holder.
